With this new Queens of the Stone Age track, I feel like summer has arrived. There’s something about a song, being released in april / may, with certain elements and attributes to it, that creates the perfect “OH MY GOD, SUMMER IS ALMOST HERE” feeling in my brain. These songs usually get the summer going and they stay throughout the whole period.

Usually when I talk about religion I find myself forced into a corner of having to defend my believe in disbelieving. When trapped in this corner I start mocking religion, going into extreme examples of how religion has poisoned everything, quoting books I’ve read on the subject, both pro-theist and pro-atheist and usually getting, in the end of it all, the classic; “You’re no better than the extreme religious people! You’re an extreme believer in atheism!” which, of course, is 100% correct but, even so, shouldn’t be considered as an argument against my believe in disbelieving but merely a statement made by someone out of pro-theist argument ideas. - Read More -
I’ve thought about this a few times over and, as an atheist, I always come to the same troll-like atheist conclusion; Give him a painted cross, The New Testament or something horribly useless for a 14 year old, clearly just wanting some awesome gifts, money, fitting in with the rest of the kids at school and not giving a damn about religion or his self acclaimed savior, Jesus Christ. - Read More -
I recently got myself a MacBook Pro, after waiting for over 5 whole years. In doing so I quickly found out how powerful multitouch gestures are and how quickly users become accustom to using them, some even religiously. I’ve got a UI I created for the CLARA Insight portal which is designed around the idea of telling a story, from left to right, and therefor scrolls the viewport horizontally, either with the user clicking on arrows, a menu or with keyboard shortcuts. I thought it would be awesome to add multitouch gestures to this and enable the users to swipe with two fingers to move the viewport, and so I began my search. - Read More -

I’ve always had this appreciation and fascination of projects that take a long time, show time going by or have basically anything to do with time passing quickly. I find it interesting since time is so important to us all and, to most people, extremely frightening. I’ve got this pure acceptance to the fact of life where I don’t feel scared about death or, in that sense, time passing by quickly and I guess the fascination for time evolved from that revelation. - Read More -
Before I get into this, I should clarify that the first iPhone I got was the original iPhone. I skipped upgrading to the 3G when that came out. I also skipped the upgrade to 3Gs when that came out. When the iPhone 4 came out, I didn’t upgrade right away, I took my time before making the jump, so I’m not one of those geeks who just jumps on the upgrade right away, I like waiting out the initial bugs on the sideline and if I feel the hardware upgrade isn’t that fantastic, I’m 110% satisfied with the software upgrade for free.
